decided to work a little harder on my "humble kiss" contest entry. thanks to some good critique from EnigmaticEmpress I went back to the picture and tried to refine it. I hope you all like it.
the description from my original submission says exactly what I want to express in this image.
decided to not go with the giant head in this piece, because I wanted to make the queen look more average like myself

I figured if I were the red queen I would prob just keep wishing for the crown while the white queen still had the thrown. LOL im a push over i suppose.

but thats why i picked the crown to be just a hair clip, because she is always just wishing to have the real thing.
Now for the ribbon I added, I decided on this because I felt that the color red would not have been my first choice if I were her. I imagine that the ribbon was worn by their mother, and so when her mother was favoring the other sister, me as the red queen is holding onto that piece of her family. wishing to be loved equally. The red ribbon symbolizes her choice to embody that color.
The other reason I chose the Red Queen, is because I am a red head. You wouldnt really see it so much in my pictures but when I'm in the sun you can see alot of red. WOOT GINGER KIDS!
